Red Alert! Stop what you’re doing, X-Men! Beast, stop doing math! Angel, stop listening to the radio! Iceman, stop eating ice cream. Jean, stop, stop, whatever it is that you are doing. Magneto’s back! And he has friends.

But before that, the first of MANY debates between Prof X and Magneto:


  • They are standing atop the world. Not a sign these guys have big egos at all.

Back to Magneto’s new buddies, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. There’s Toad, the hopping sycophant! Mastermind, the creepy old man that can make illusions! The Scarlet Witch, who appears to have the power to make things fall over at this point! And Quicksilver, super fast and super into his sister! Also, Magneto has raised the stakes:


  • If I can’t have this little island nation, no one can! (Magneto does not play well with others)

Remember back in Issue 1? Magneto’s murderous rage has come a long way since then.

The X-Men repel the Brotherhood and stop the nuke from detonating, but Prof X is hit by the aforementioned booby trap and his mental powers are gone!
